How to report fraud

If you think something isn’t right, contact us straight away. The sooner you tell us, the quicker we can help.

You can:

Please get in touch immediately if:

  • Someone has taken out finance in your name
  • Or you’ve received a suspicious message claiming to be from us

The FCA has confirmed that scammers are already making calls pretending to be from lenders. They may say they need your personal details, banking or card information and agreement details to process compensation payments.

Motor finance lenders won’t contact customers seeking this type of information until the FCA has finalised the compensation scheme.

If you get a call like this:

  1. Hang up straight away
  2. Don’t share any personal or banking details

For more advice, visit the FCA website to learn how to protect yourself from scams.

You can report scam calls and texts through Ofcom. Information on how to report scam texts and mobile calls through the 7726 service is available on the Ofcom website

If you get a message (email, text or call) claiming to be from us asking for personal or banking details:

  1. Don’t reply
  2. Don’t click on any links
  3. Contact us using the details above
