Northridge

At Northridge we take protection of your personal information seriously. Full details about how your information will be used by Northridge, as well as your information rights, can be found in the Northridge Privacy Notice here. This provides details about what information is collected, how it is used, who it is shared with and how you can control the use of your information.

In December 2021 we updated our Privacy Notice with the following information:

  • Advising that the bank may contact you about other services that may be beneficial such as a financial health check, general budgeting advice or a discussion with one of our specialist teams;
  • That we may contact you with regards to welfare concerns and whether adjustments, support or different products or services might be suitable or protections put in place;
  • Updates to section (iv) (e) which describes data sharing with Fraud Prevention Agencies and government bodies.

Our updated Data Privacy Notice and out Data Privacy Summary is effective from 1 January 2022.

Credit Reference Agencies

To process your application and manage your account, we exchange information with credit reference agencies. Further details as to how your information will be used and shared by them can be found in their Privacy Notice here.

Fraud Prevention Agencies

The personal information we have collected from you will be shared with Cifas, a fraud prevention agency, that will use it to prevent fraud and money-laundering and to verify your identity. If fraud is detected, you could be refused certain services, finance or employment. Further details about your data protection rights and how your information will be used and shared for these purposes can be found here.

Third Parties

If you are introduced to us by a broker or other intermediary (eg a motor dealer), ask your broker or other intermediary for a copy of its own Privacy Notice if you have not already seen it. You should also ask for a copy of the Privacy Notice of any third party product and service providers you contract with, including any you ask us to share your information with or allow to access your information.
